TEHRAN (AA) - Iran’s Foreign Ministry has announced that Iranian officials would meet with EU representatives in the second half of June to discuss the ongoing crisis in Yemen, Iranian media reported Monday.
According to the Iranian Students News Agency, the third round of Yemen talks between Iranian officials and EU representatives will be held in Brussels.
“Talks devoted exclusively to the Yemen crisis are already underway with France, Germany, the U.K. and Italy,” Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister for Political Affairs Seyyed Abbas Araghchi was quoted as saying.
“We are only discussing Yemen’s dire humanitarian situation,” he added. “No other issues are on the agenda of talks.”
