WASHINGTON (AA) – The Iranian Foreign Ministry summoned the German ambassador to protest hostile actions targeting Iran in Germany, Mehr News Agency reported Tuesday.
It conveyed its strong protest to Axel Dittmann following anti-Iran activities in Germany and the "destructive and illegal” positions of the country's officials against Tehran, according to the report.
Dittmann was told that these positions and actions are in conflict with the fundamental principles of international law and the UN Charter, the report said.
The German ambassador said he would convey Iran's strong protests and dissatisfaction to Berlin, it added.
