GOLESTAN, Iran (AA) – Nestled within the verdant forests of Ramyan City in Iran’s Golestan province, Gol-e-Ramian Spring captivates tourists and locals alike and offers solace from sweltering temperatures and a respite in the embrace of nature.

This 50-meter-wide and 50-meter-deep natural wonder is a resting and refreshing stop for travelers and environmentalists.

The Gol-e-Ramian Spring attracts visitors from all over the globe. The spring's allure lies in its untouched beauty and the chance to cool off in its crystalline, ice-cold waters. Adventurous spirits embrace the thrill of leaping into the lake from a hanging rope tied to sturdy tree branches, creating an exhilarating experience amid breathtaking natural surroundings.

Despite its ethereal beauty, the lake becomes a pressing concern for environmental activists and local communities. The lake's freezing temperatures, even in sweltering 40-degree Celsius weather, harbor treacherous depths that tragically take the lives of many people each year.

Whenever the opportunity arises, environmental activists engage in cleanup efforts to clear the area of litter left behind by visitors, ensuring the preservation of its pristine condition.
