ANKARA (AA) - Iraqi President Barham Salih has arrived on Thursday in Turkey’s capital to hold official talks with Turkish authorities on bilateral ties as well as regional and international developments.
Salih will meet President Recep Tayyip Erdogan at the presidential complex in Ankara.
The two presidents are expected to discuss bilateral relations in all aspects and enhancing the mutual cooperation in various fields.
The leaders are also expected to exchange views on regional and international developments including Syria.
Iraqi president is later scheduled to meet with Parliament Speaker Binali Yildirim.
It is the first time that Salih, who took office on Oct. 2 last year, is paying a visit to Ankara.
