38 Turkmen suffering from Daesh mustard gas attack receive medical treatment in Ankara

ANKARA (AA) – Dozens of Iraqi Turkmen still suffering from a Daesh mustard gas attack earlier this year have been brought to Turkey for treatment, the Turkish Foreign Ministry announced Friday.

In a statement, the ministry said 38 Turkmen who were attacked by Daesh terrorists on March 9 in Tuz Khormato, Kirkuk were taken to Ankara’s Polatli State Hospital.

"The examination and treatment of our kinsmen were immediately started under the supervision of our specialists," the statement added.

In March the Daesh terrorist group attacked Tuz Khormato with Katyusha and mortar missiles which included mustard gas. Four people were killed, including two children, and more than 4,000 civilians were wounded in the attack.
