JERUSALEM (AA) – The Israeli authorities on Monday arrested Firas al-Dibs, a spokesman for Jerusalem’s Jordan-run Religious Endowments Authority, according to well-informed sources.
Israeli intelligence officers arrested al-Dibs in Jerusalem, where he is currently being held in the Al-Muskubiya detention center, the sources -- speaking anonymously due to security concerns -- told Anadolu Agency.
As of the time of writing, the Israeli authorities had yet to issue any statements regarding al-Dibs’s detention.
