Israel evacuates Ben Gurion Airport after retaliatory drone strikes from Iran

Empty passenger planes transferred to other airports, says army radio

ISTANBUL (AA) - Israel evacuated Ben Gurion International Airport on Friday due to retaliatory drone strikes from Iran.

Israeli army radio said that empty passenger planes were transferred to other airports.

Israeli Channel 12 said that the public was asked to stay away from the airport – the country's largest – until further notice.
