ISTANBUL (AA) – Israel launched a fresh wave of airstrikes targeting Isfahan and Shiraz in central and southern Iran on Sunday, according to Iranian media.
The ISNA news agency reported that a facility linked to Iran’s Defense Ministry was struck in Isfahan.
However, Israeli military spokesman Avichay Adraee claimed that Sunday's strike in Isfahan targeted a nuclear facility.
There has been no comment from the Iranian side regarding the claim.
Thick smoke was also seen rising from Shiraz after Israeli strikes, but no information was yet available about the target of the attack.
