JERUSALEM (AA) – Israeli army chief of staff Gadi Eisenkot started an official visit to Greece on Wednesday for security talks with Greek officials.
Eisenkot will meet with Greek security and military officials, including army chief Admiral Abangelos Apostolakis, to discuss common security challenges, regional security developments and future military cooperation between the two countries, the Israeli army said in a statement.
It remains unclear how long the Israeli army chief will stay in Greece.
Relations between Athens and Tel Aviv have remarkably developed in recent years, particularly in military and economic fields.
