BEIRUT (AA) - An Israeli drone on Monday fell to earth in a border area of southern Lebanon, Lebanon’s Shia Hezbollah militia group has said.

According to the group’s “military information” website, the SkyLark-class drone fell to earth in the Aita al-Shaab area “near Lebanon’s southern border with occupied Palestine [i.e., Israel]”.

Hezbollah’s main website, meanwhile, published photos purportedly showing the crashed drone.

It did not provide any further details.

Israel, for its part, has yet to comment on Hezbollah’s claims.
