By Zain Khalil

JERUSALEM (AA) – An Israeli drone crashed during operational activity in the Jordan Valley in the occupied West Bank, according to the army on Wednesday.

A military statement cited “technical error” for the crash of the Skylark drone.

The statement said the wreckage of the aircraft was retrieved, adding that there was no concern about information leakage after the crash.

The Palestinian Jordan Valley covers almost one-third of the occupied West Bank, with about 13,000 Israeli settlers living across 38 settlements in the area.

Meanwhile, around 65,000 Palestinians live in 34 communities and are subjected to Israeli restrictions, including deprivation of building permits and home demolitions.
