JERUSALEM (AA) - An Israeli drone has gone down somewhere inside the blockaded Gaza Strip, Israeli public radio reported Wednesday.
The broadcaster identified the fallen aircraft as a Skylark-model unmanned aerial vehicle.
Developed by Israel’s Elbit Systems, the Skylark is designed primarily for tactical surveillance and reconnaissance missions.
While the Israeli army has yet to release a statement, it has reportedly launched an investigation into the incident, according to Israeli public radio.
