ISTANBUL (AA) - The Israeli Knesset (parliament) passed a bill in its preliminary reading on Wednesday to annex the occupied West Bank.
By a 25-24 vote, the bill was approved in a preliminary reading “to apply sovereignty to Judea and Samaria (West Bank),” the daily Yedioth Ahronoth reported.
Israeli Channel 12 said that another bill to annex the Ma'ale Adumim settlement in occupied East Jerusalem is being voted on in the Knesset.
