JERUSALEM (AA) - Israel's premier and defense chief vowed on Friday to apprehend the perpetrators of an attack that killed two settlers in the northern West Bank.
"Apprehending the perpetrators is only a matter of time and will not take long," Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said during a press conference at the scene of the attack, alongside Defense Minister Yoav Gallant.
On rocket attacks from Lebanon and Gaza, Netanyahu said the security cabinet had approved a series of military operations.
The military response did not end with yesterday's attacks, Netanyahu said.
Gallant also said efforts to find the perpetrators of the attack were ongoing.
"Anyone who wants to harm the Israelis will find themselves either in prison or in the grave," Gallant said.
Two female Israeli settlers were killed and a third was seriously injured on Friday in an attack in the northern occupied West Bank.
A manhunt has since been launched to find the perpetrator, who managed to escape the scene, according to Israeli public broadcaster KAN.
