ROME (AA) - Former Italian Premier Silvio Berlusconi returned to Milan's San Raffaele Hospital on Friday, after being hospitalized for 45 days last month for a lung infection linked to a previously undisclosed problem of chronic leukemia.

Berlusconi, leader of the ruling Forza Italia party, was admitted to the hospital for "unknown conditions," Italian news agency ANSA reported, quoting sources.

Italian state TV RAI said the three-time premier, 86, was not in intensive care.
