ANKARA (AA) - Japan's unemployment rate was unchanged at 2.6% in July, meeting market forecast, according to government data on Tuesday.
The number of unemployed decreased by 40,000 to 1.76 million in July, the statistical authority said.
Meanwhile, the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare data showed that the job availability ratio improved for the seventh consecutive month in July.
The job-to-applicant ratio increased to its highest level since April 2020 to 1.29 in July, up from 1.27 in June.
