AMMAN (AA) - Jordan said Wednesday it is following the arrest of its national by Israel over an alleged cross-border infiltration attempt.
The Foreign Ministry said in a statement it is coordinating with Israeli authorities in order to learn about the details and circumstances of the incident.
Earlier Wednesday, Israel’s Times of Israel website quoted the Israeli army as announcing that a Jordanian man “carrying a knife illegally crossed the border into Israel”, adding that he was arrested.
