AMMAN, Jordan (AA) - At least one drug smuggler was killed on Thursday near the Jordanian-Syrian border in an anti-narcotics operation, the Jordanian army said in a statement.
A large amount of drugs, including 21,000 pills of Tramadol and 240,000 pills of Captagon, were seized by the forces, the statement added.
Jordan has become a corridor for drug smuggling since the Syrian war in 2011.
