ISTANBUL (AA) - Jordanian King Abdullah II on Tuesday arrived in Kazakhstan on a two-day official visit.
A statement from the Kazakh presidential press service on Telegram said that King Abdullah II arrived in the country’s capital Astana, where he was greeted by President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.
“Tomorrow, the heads of state will hold talks and take part in the Kazakh-Jordanian business forum,” the statement added.
The Jordanian king also had a two-day visit to the city of Samarkand in neighboring Uzbekistan, where he held talks with Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev on Tuesday.
Tokayev visited Jordan's capital Amman in February, where the two countries agreed to expand bilateral cooperation, including in the peaceful use of nuclear energy.
