ANKARA (AA) - The English Premier League on Wednesday named Jurgen Klopp the 2021/22 Barclays Manager of the Season.
Liverpool, who were 14 points behind Manchester City in January, had stayed as the title contenders until the last week of the season. They lost the title to Man City with one point.
This marks the second award for Klopp after the 2019/20 season when he led Liverpool to their first Premier League title.
The Reds, who bagged English League Cup (EFL) and FA Cup this season, will take on Real Madrid in UEFA Champions League final on Saturday.
