ISTANBUL (AA) - South Korean pop star Park Jae-hyung, known professionally as eaJ, recently wrapped up a concert in Indonesia by calling for a “free Palestine.”

Ending his Friday set at the Prambanan Jazz Festival in Yogyakarta, Java, the singer can be heard shouting "free, free Palestine," on videos circulating widely on social media.

The Israeli army, despite international calls for a ceasefire, has pursued a genocidal war on Gaza, killing more than 57,000 Palestinians, most of them women and children, since October 2023.

Last November the International Criminal Court issued arrest warrants for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant for war crimes and crimes against humanity in Gaza.

Israel also faces a genocide case at the International Court of Justice for its war on the enclave.
