ISTANBUL (AA) - Karmod has delivered bulletproof armored security cabins to five clients in defense, finance, research, corporate headquarters, and diplomatic missions over the past month.
The company said the latest orders included cabins for two Turkish defense firms, a financial center, a research and development hub, and headquarters of a holding. Karmod also exported two units to be installed at a foreign embassy in Bulgaria.
"The use of armored cabins has expanded beyond government and embassy buildings to a wider range of sectors," said Zekai Kucuk, general manager of Karmod Kabin.
"This shift is driven by Türkiye's economic growth and advances in the defense industry," he said.
Kucuk noted that the cabins are customized according to site-specific risk factors shared by clients.
"We adapt our designs beyond standard production to meet security needs in different environments," he said.
The company said its armored structures meet BR7 standards, providing protection against armor-piercing rounds while allowing security staff to respond to attacks. The cabins are produced in sizes ranging from 3 to 15 square meters, with 2x2, 3x2, and 3x3 meters among the most popular models.
Designed with mobility in mind, the units can be relocated and are equipped with armored doors, bullet-resistant firing windows, wide-angle observation glass, lighting, and siren systems.
