ISTANBUL (AA) - Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev on Thursday arrived in Kyrgyzstan on an official visit, according to the Kyrgyz presidential office.
Tokayev will hold bilateral talks with Kyrgyz President Sadyr Japarov and attend the seventh meeting of the Supreme Interstate Council.
The two leaders will discuss cooperation in various fields and prospects for the development of bilateral relations.
The official opening of the Golden Bridge of Friendship monument in Yntymak Park, Bishkek is also planned with the participation of the two leaders.
Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan, both members of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) and the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU), have recently sought to boost cooperation in trade, culture, and education.
