ISTANBUL (AA) – Kazakhstan’s President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin on Wednesday discussed key issues in trade, energy, and economic cooperation.
Tokayev and Putin emphasized during the phone call that the relationship between Kazakhstan and Russia, rooted in friendship, good neighborliness, and alliance, is rapidly progressing, according to a readout issued by Kazakhstan's presidency.
The discussion also reaffirmed mutual interest in strengthening bilateral cooperation in the energy sector and expanding economic ties.
