BEIRUT (AA) - The Lebanese army on Wednesday fired at two "Israeli reconnaissance drones" for violating the country's airspace, according to the official National News Agency.

Israeli drones, the news agency said, breached airspace over the Aadaysit in southern Lebanon where the drones were visible to the naked eye.

No further details were given on the fate of the drones.

On Sunday, an Israeli drone fell and another exploded in the southern suburb of capital Beirut.

The following day, three explosions were heard at military posts of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) group in the Qousaya area in eastern Lebanon, with a Lebanese official accusing Israel of being behind the incidents.
