ISTANBUL (AA) – A Liberian-flagged container ship ran aground in Istanbul on Saturday.
The 188-meter-long Liberian-flagged container ship, MSC Rhiannon, ran aground in the Ahirkapi anchorage area.
Teams from the Coastal Safety General Directorate (KEGM) have been dispatched to the area, and a salvage operation has been launched.
