ISTANBUL (AA) - A magnitude 5.8 earthquake struck Myanmar on Tuesday, according to the German Research Center for Geosciences, or GEOFON.
The quake occurred near Sittwe, the capital of Rakhine state in western Myanmar at 1533GMT. It originated at a depth of 52 kilometers (32.3 miles), GEOFON said.
There were no immediate reports of damage at the time of publication.
