ISTANBUL (AA) - Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim and Italy’s Deputy Prime Minister Antonio Tajani discussed bilateral trade in Rome.

More than 100 companies, industry agencies and organizations from Italy and Malaysia attended the meeting.
"In an increasingly challenging global landscape, international stability and peace are essential foundations for economic prosperity, as well as cross-border synergy opportunities that the business community must fully exploit," Anwar said.
For his part, Tajani, who is also Italy’s foreign minister, said on X that Rome and Kuala Lumpur are cooperating "to bring peace to Ukraine and the Middle East."
Both countries are committed to building "regional stability through a lasting ceasefire," in Gaza and between Israel and Iran.
