ISTANBUL (AA) - Malaysia's annual inflation rate was at 3.4% in June, up from 2.8% in May, official figures showed on Friday.
The country's annual inflation rate was also at 3.4% in June 2021, according to data from the Department of Statistics of Malaysia.
In June 2022, prices of food and non-alcoholic beverages rose by 6.1% yearly, while the rate had been 5.2% in May.
Transport prices increased by 5.4%, while restaurant-hotel prices rose by 5% over the same period.
