ISTANBUL (AA) – A man in his 20s stabbed three teenagers, killing two of them, including a girl, and seriously injuring another before falling from a motel window to his death in South Korea's southern province of South Gyeongsang on Wednesday evening, according to local media.
A teenage girl made an emergency call to authorities from a motel in Changwon, about 380 kilometers (nearly 236 miles) southeast of Seoul, Yonhap News reported, citing police.
When first responders arrived, they found the suspect, in his 20s, lying on the ground outside the motel, apparently from a fall.
They found the girl and two teenage boys in a bathroom, all with stab wounds.
Authorities later confirmed that the girl, one of the boys, and the suspect died, with the other boy in critical condition.
Police said the suspect checked into the motel hours before the incident and contacted the girl to set up a meeting.
Authorities believe the girl arrived with the two boys before the attack. The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
