Andreas Christensen sent off, Jorginho misses penalty as Mane leads Reds to victory against Chelsea

ANKARA (AA) - Reigning English Premier League champions Liverpool beat Chelsea 2-0 in a highly-anticipated league match of the week on Sunday.

Chelsea's Andreas Christensen was shown a red card following a Video Assistant Referee (VAR) review in the 45th minute, and the first half ended 0-0.

Sadio Mane broke the deadlock in the 50th minute at the Stamford Bridge.

Mane scored again to make the score 2-0 after Chelsea's goalkeeper Kepa's big mistake.

In the 75th minute, Chelsea's Jorginho missed a penalty and the match ended 2-0.

Tottenham Hotspur secured their first victory in the league this season after beating Southampton 5-2 at the Saint Mary's Stadium on Sunday.

Son Heung-min had an impressive form by scoring four goals against Southampton.

Harry Kane made four assists for Son Heung-min, becoming the first player to assist the same teammate four times in a single Premier League game.

Kane also scored a goal, while Southampton's two goals were scored by Danny Ings.
