The Dallas Mavericks' new draft Anthony Davis will be sidelined for multiple weeks due to an injury, according to NBA insider Shams Charania.
The 31-year-old is "expected to miss multiple weeks with a left adductor strain," Charania said on X, quoting sources. "His absence could stretch to a month."
Davis played with 26 points, 16 rebounds and seven assists in his Mavs debut game against Houston Rockets, which ended 116-105 in favor of Dallas.
