DONETSK, Ukraine (AA) – Military activities of Ukrainian forces in the Donetsk region continue amid Kyiv's counteroffensive against Russia.
Ukrainian soldiers from the 56th Brigade in the Donetsk region continue their preparations against Russian forces at artillery positions in the direction of Bakhmut.
The Bakhmut city, a transport and logistics hub in the Donetsk region, a part of the largely Russian-speaking industrialized Donbas region that Moscow annexed last year, is the epicenter of intense fighting between Russia and Ukraine.
