ISTANBUL (AA) - A military building in Russia’s northwestern Leningrad region has collapsed, the regional governor said on Tuesday.
Leningrad Governor Aleksandr Drozdenko wrote on Telegram that he ordered law enforcement agencies to assist the military in clearing debris and rescuing victims from the collapsed structure.
He said the incident took place in the town of Sertolovo, situated north of St. Petersburg, and units from the emergency services are on site.
“The cause of the incident is being investigated,” he added, without providing further details.
