GENEVA (AA) – A Swiss military helicopter crashed over the Alps on Wednesday, the country’s defense ministry has confirmed.
The aircraft came down over the Gotthard Pass in south-eastern Switzerland, according to a ministry statement.
There was no information about the number of people involved, but the ministry has presumed casualties.
Appropriate emergency measures were taken immediately, the ministry added.
