KHARTOUM, Sudan (AA) – A Sudanese military plane crashed in the central city of al-Obeid on Thursday, according to the military.
Military spokesman Nabil Abdullah said the aircraft was on a training mission when it crashed at the city’s airport.
He cited a “technical failure” for the crash.
Two pilots aboard the plane survived unhurt, the spokesman said.
