VAN, Turkey (AA) - Turkish security forces on Friday seized some 128 kilograms (282 pounds) of heroin in the eastern Van province, local police said.
Acting on a tip off, police carried out operation along the highway between Karagunduz and Ilikaynak neighbors.
The contraband was seized in 125 packages hidden in a headwall near the highway.
The police hunt is underway to nab the suspects.
