NEW YORK (AA) - An unknown number of people are dead and at least nine others were injured in a shooting in the US state of Texas.
The nine were injured when an attacker opened fire at a shopping center, according to Dallas police.
Police Chief Brian Harvey told reporters that the shooter, who randomly fired at people in the Allen Premium Outlets, was neutralized.
Images on social media show people lying on the ground outside the shopping center.
Gov. Greg Abbott called the attack an "unspeakable tragedy."
