ANKARA (AA) – Napoli captain Lorenzo Insigne has been infected by coronavirus, his club announced on Tuesday.
"The player will self-isolate at his home," the Italian football club said.
Insigne, 30, who generally plays on the left flank, is a decent Napoli veteran.
He amassed 415 appearances to score 114 goals and produce 91 assists for Napoli.
Insigne helped Napoli win two Italian Cups and an Italian Super Cup.
Meanwhile he won the UEFA EURO 2020 title with his native Italy.
This season Insigne tallied five goals and six assists in 18 appearances for his club.
