ANKARA (AA) - Spokesman of Turkey’s ruling Justice and Development (AK) Party on Friday said NATO members were aware of Turkey’s strength and importance in the military alliance.
In a press conference, Omer Celik said: "Everybody in the NATO summit emphasized Turkey’s power and its indispensability for NATO."
NATO members, despite some objections, were aware that the measures Ankara has taken for its own security were directly related to the security of the alliance, he added.
