ANKARA (AA) - Basketball star Dwight Howard will ink a non-guaranteed contract deal to return to the Los Angeles Lakers, an NBA insider said on Saturday.

"After completing a contract buyout with the Memphis Grizzlies, Dwight Howard will sign a non-guaranteed contract with the Los Angeles Lakers that comes with a clear message, league sources told ESPN: Disrupt this team -- and you'll be gone", said sports journalist Adrian Wojnarowski on Twitter.

He also said that with this contract, Howard would surrender $2.6 million of his $5.6 million guaranteed salary to the Memphis Grizzlies in the buyout.

Throughout his club career, Howard, 33, played for Orlando Magic, Los Angeles Lakers, Houston Rockets, Atlanta Hawks, Charlotte Hornets, Washington Wizards and Memphis Grizzlies.

The eight-time NBA All-Star player also helped his country earn the golden medal in the 2008 Summer Olympics in China's capital Bejing.
