ANKARA (AA) - The NBA continued with two matches on Thursday night, including the Los Angeles Clippers beating the Dallas Mavericks 125-121.
Clippers forward Danilo Gallinari scored 32 points in the basket to lift his team against the Mavericks, ending a four-match losing streak.
But for the Mavericks, rookie sensation Luka Doncic's NBA career-high 32 points fell short.
It was also DeAndre Jordan's first match as a Maverick against the Clippers, his former longtime home.
Jordan was recognized for his decade-long service to the team by a standing ovation from the Clippers management and the crowd.
In the other match of the night, the Miami Heat managed to oust the Houston Rockets 101-99 in the American Airlines Arena.
Balanced scoring from the Heat got the job done against the Rockets, with James Harden's 35 point/12-assist performance unable to tip things over.
