ISTANBUL (AA) - Newcastle United defeated Tottenham Hotspur 6-1 as Jacob Murphy and Alexander Isak scored twice in the 6-1 win on matchday 32 of the English Premier League on Sunday.
Jacob Murphy scored two goals in the second and ninth minutes, while Joelinton produced Newcastle's third goal in the sixth minute at St. James' Park.
Alexander Isak scored twice in the 19th and 21st minutes and the last goal came from Callum Wilson in the 67th minute.
In the 49th minute, Harry Kane smashed a left-footed finish into the bottom corner from the left edge of the penalty area.
With this result, Newcastle are third with 59 points while Tottenham are fifth with 53 points.
