HAKKARI, Turkey (AA) - Turkish security forces found 401 kg of heroin from a vehicle in southeastern Hakkari province, the provincial governor’s office said on Thursday.
In a statement, it said that security teams continue their operations against illicit drug trade and production without any letup.
In this context, a vehicle believed to be transporting drugs to the western provinces was stopped in the Yuksekova district of the province. While the hidden contraband was seized, a suspect was detained.
