KARACHI, Pakistan (AA) - Pakistan's former Prime Minister Imran Khan was arrested Tuesday in the capital Islamabad, local media reported.

The development comes days after Khan accused a senior military officer of conspiring to kill him.

Khan was taken into custody by Rangers, the country's paramilitary force, just as an Islamabad court granted him interim bail in seven cases, Dunya News reported.
