GAZA CITY, Palestine (AA) – A Palestinian was killed in an explosion on Tuesday in the blockaded Gaza Strip, according to the Hamas-run Interior Ministry.
A girl was also injured in the blast, which took place inside a house west of Khan Younis city, ministry spokesman Eyad al-Buzum said.
"The accidental explosion caused material damage in the place," he added.
The spokesman said police and competent authorities are following up on the incident, without giving further details.
The cause of the explosion remains unclear.
