RAMALLAH, Palestine (AA) - A Palestinian was martyred Friday by Israeli forces in an alleged car-ramming attack in the West Bank, according to Palestinian authorities.
Residents identified the martyr as Omar Al-Harimi, 27, a father of one from Bethlehem.
He was shot by Israeli forces near the Gush Etzion settlement in southern West Bank, the Ministry of Health said in a statement.
Israel said two Jewish settlers “were critically injured in the incident.”
The Israeli army reportedly launched an investigation.
