JERUSALEM (AA) – A Palestinian was shot by Israeli forces on Monday after allegedly stabbing an Israeli girl in the northern Afula city, according to a police spokesperson.
“Police shot the suspect in the leg after calling upon him to stop,” the spokesperson said. “The suspect was arrested with a knife in his possession.”
Police said the attacker was from the West Bank city of Jenin.
Israeli media said the girl was seriously injured in the attack.
