Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) secured the French Ligue 1 title with six weeks to go in the 2024–25 season after defeating Angers 1-0 on Saturday, thanks to a second-half strike from young forward Desire Doue.
Playing at Parc des Princes, PSG broke the deadlock in the 55th minute when Doue found the back of the net, sealing the win that clinched the league crown.
The victory took PSG to 74 points, putting them 24 points clear of second-place Monaco, who have one game in hand — a gap that guarantees the title regardless of remaining fixtures.
Under the guidance of Spanish manager Luis Enrique, PSG claimed their fourth consecutive Ligue 1 title and 13th in the club's history.
