Police officers injured in terrorist attack in northern Turkey

TRABZON, Turkey (AA) – Police officers were injured on Tuesday in an attack by a group of terrorists in northern Turkey.

An Anadolu Agency correspondent at the site reported that a terrorist group attacked police officers on duty at a checkpoint at the entrance of the Macka district of Trabzon province.

Clashes were still ongoing, according to the reporter.
